Cincinnati Office Leader Elevated to Principal
M+A Architects is excited to announce the firm’s newest partner, Seth Oakley, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, marking the firm’s first Cincinnati office partner representative. This strategic organizational change allows the firm to continue to strengthen and expand its ability to serve a growing roster of clients.
Active August 1, 2019, Seth will officially join the team of principals at M+A, bringing new energy and a technology-focused edge to the firm’s capabilities.
M+A President Mark Daniels shared, “I am confident in what Seth will bring to the table and certain that his expertise will elevate our overall excellence as a firm, increasing our value as a partner.”
As an architect and leader, Seth will serve as a pioneer of technology for the firm, leading projects on an innovative path towards the future. The implementation of innovative technological advances will position M+A as progressive partners in the AEC industry.
Seth will lead the firm’s engagement within the rapid evolution of technology, set to transform the design process. AI, VR, and XR will empower project teams to visualize anything, and even more importantly, interact with the visualized objects, changing the way things have been done, moving faster and more efficiently.
Since joining M+A in 2004, Seth has been active in contributing to the success of the firm, led by dedication and consistent determination. His motivation to open the Cincinnati office five years ago has served our firm incredibly well and has proven successful with a 133% growth in the office’s short time of existence.
Seth is a nationally recognized expert in accessibility, and maintains Risk Management for the firm, with a strong background in construction.
His extensive experience on numerous projects ranges from initial schematic design to detailed construction administration, which gives him a unique insight into overall project delivery. He is technically focused and has a keen eye for detail. Through numerous residential projects, he has developed a thorough understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) as well as Federal Fair Housing Guidelines along with other common accessibility guidelines. As a LEED Accredited Professional, Seth consistently applies sustainable processes to every facet of his work.
