Marysville Grace Brethren Church Breaks Ground
It was a dark and stormy afternoon that had unending rain, but the crowd was fearless! They came from everywhere, running to the tents with shovels in hand. Alas, there was no treasure, but the Marysville Grace Brethren Church Groundbreaking Ceremony was a great success! Pastor Clancy Cruise spoke about how his congregation had been meeting for 10 years in Navin Elementary School and the day has finally arrived for building their own church.
The new space is just the first phase of a carefully developed growth plan. They will start out with 16,000SF on 2 levels that contain classrooms and a sanctuary large enough for 500 people. Long term, the church will have office spaces, additional classrooms and an even larger sanctuary built in sync with their congregational growth. Their outdoor space also had careful planning with its decorative arrival garden to convey entry as well as a detention pond that will offer a place for baptisms and outdoor services.
We are very excited to see this project come to life!
