Matt Canterbury Elected to Columbus USGBC Board of Directors
Matt Canterbury, LEED AP and Director of Business Development at M+A Architects was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Central Ohio Chapter of the United States Green Building Council for a two year term.
Matt has been a LEED AP for over 7 years now and has been an active member of the local USGBC chapter since it's inception. He has been published in several regional newspapers and magazines as well as the Urban Land Institute's (ULI's) national publication, Urban Land, in a feature article entitled "A New Shade of Green" in the August 2009 issue. Matt has a passion for environmental design and has participated in groups and panels dedicated to spreading awareness about sustainable design. He has created sustainability standards for large corporations as well as various towns and cities. He continues to work with several municipalities around Central Ohio to encourage sustainable design within their city limits.
