Tom Lewis Returns to Teaching
He may have not attended The Ohio State University, but perhaps that’s what makes Tom Lewis an excellent addition to The Knowlton School of Architecture’s diversified staff this semester. Along with his full-time position, M+A’s talented senior designer will be leading a 2nd year undergraduate studio as they continue their journey to an Architecture Degree. However, Tom is no stranger to the University as he previously taught at its School of Architecture from 1997 – 2006 and has stayed involved ever since, lending his seasoned knowledge to review panels. Tom’s knowledge, experience and passion for the field not only make him a valuable professional resource but will challenge students to think outside of the box for a changing world. His Fall Semester Studio will encompass architecture and planning at a variety of scales while further developing students’ design process.
Although a native to Columbus and a Buckeye at heart, Tom received his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati and continued on to achieve his Masters in Advanced Architecture Design at Columbia University. After working for the world renowned architectural firm of Gwathmey Siegel and Associates Architects in NYC for seven years, Tom returned to Columbus where he continues to hone his design skills while broadening his ever-growing passion for architecture.
Graphic Design Lead
Chelsea has a B.S. in landscape architecture from The Ohio State University. When she's not designing graphics for M+A projects, she is probably walking her dog or finding the best places to eat.
