Up Next in New Albany's Red Hot Industrial Market
Central Ohio has seen a boom in commercial real estate in the last few years. One of the hottest areas for the industrial market is in New Albany, where more is coming.
M+A Architects has been working with Carey Realty Investments on a new 300,000 square foot speculative warehouse to be located just east of New Albany's expanding Health and Beauty Park. CEO Edward Carey isn't worried this time about building before tenants are signed saying, "There's only about 5 percent vacancy in the entire Class A in Central Ohio, and in New Albany it's not even 1 percent. I'm willing, against my better judgment, to proceed with speculative development."
The project is similar to one that M+A worked with Carey on in Marysville for Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems.
