Marcy Burnie

Project Manager

"Architects can’t force people to connect, it can only plan the crossing points, remove barriers, and make the meeting places useful and attractive."

Marcy excels at taking big ideas and translating them into documents and ultimately into reality. She is driven to understand clients’ needs and talented at developing efficient floor plans beginning with space programming. She knows how to use data and interview feedback to determine accurate efficiencies, in turn maximizing her project’s spaces. Marcy is also passionate about creating quality projects for low income and under-served populations – be it housing or schools in disadvantaged areas. She stays motivated and energized by being involved in projects that help create a better world, which has made her a excellent fit in our Affordable Housing studio.
