Using Cincinnati topography to our advantage.

The site for this new residential development was challenging as it is set on a steep hillside sloping 40’ from North to South. Adjacent to the University of Cincinnati, this project features approximately 123 new upscale townhouse and apartment flat units, as well as many amenities including a community room, exercise facilities, study area, theater room and indoor secure bike storage.

M+A worked with the developer on a programming effort that prioritized minimal unit types, bedroom bathroom parity, and indoor / outdoor interaction. The users are primarily college students and the location is directly adjacent to a historic district – so the context of the architecture was very important. The project also includes a two story parking structure that will provide around 252 spaces of private and public parking.
