Childhood League Center

M+A Architects designed the award winning original Childhood League Center (CLC) next to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in the early 1980’s. Since then, the not-for-profit organization who provides a learning environment for special needs children, has expanded and grown by leaps and bounds. M+A assisted the CLC with programming and land use studies as they decided to build a new facility. We helped them select a site on the old Fort Hayes Army Reserve campus that is now owned by Columbus City Schools.
Currently in Design Development, M+A is leading the team in designing a facility that supports their focus of a Reggio Emilia style learning facility in which children learn through activity and touch and feel.
